Topsfield home sales top out at $1.3 million as trust transfers dominate July-August activity
Topsfield recorded 15 property transfers between July 10 and Aug. 8, nine with disclosed prices ranging from $590,000 to $1,300,000 and a median of $980,000. The period's top sale was 5 Blueberry Lane, which sold for $1.3 million on Aug. 7 from Gerard L. McCarthy to Angela Daley. Ipswich Road saw two transfers, the only street with more than one sale. Nearly half the recorded transfers, seven of 15, involved sellers and buyers sharing a surname or a trust tied to the seller, and six of the 15 sales listed no disclosed price, typical for those transfer types.
