Topsfield home sale hits $1.375 million as family and trust transfers make up half of recorded deeds
Fourteen property transfers were recorded in Topsfield between July 24 and Aug. 22, though only seven listed a sale price, ranging from $537,500 to $1,375,000 with a median of $1,075,000. The month's top sale was 22 Timber Lane, which sold for $1,375,000 on Aug. 21 from Stephen V. Majeski to Daniel Keeler. Half of all recorded deeds, seven of 14, involved sellers and buyers sharing a surname or a trust taking title within the same family, none disclosing a price. Nine of the 14 properties carried subdivision lot numbers, and three condominium units also changed hands.
