TOPSFIELD — The Topsfield Select Board approved prior meeting minutes and attended a joint Finance Committee presentation on the FY27 budget. Vice Chair Michelle Mercier-Link and Members Boyd Jackson and Marshall Hook voted unanimously to approve minutes from January 5 and 12. The school committee outlined $75,000 allocations each to special education stabilization and reserve funds, with cost savings from reduced transportation and consumables.
Two citizen petitions were received for the warrant: one on rodenticides and one on special event permit bylaws aimed at preserving historic buildings and limiting noise in residential areas.
