Select Board's Office · Meeting of January 28, 2026
TOPSFIELD — Select Board approves expanded liquor license for Evermore at Peirce Farm. The board voted 5-0 on Member Marshall Hook's motion to permit the Evermore to use the full mansion, including basement and third floor, for liquor consumption and storage. During a lengthy FY2027 budget review, Highway Superintendent Gary Wildes requested $37,000 for paving and $20,000 for snow and ice wages; the board also agreed to increase the Veteran Services Officer budget from $12,000 to $30,000 and transition to the Ipswich VSO once the current officer retires.
The board deferred decision on whether to hire a full-time planner for a future work session.
