Topsfield Select Board approves liquor license for Strawberry Festival and enters regional law enforcement mutual aid pact. The board voted 5-0 to grant a one-day liquor license for the Strawberry Festival on June 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Parson Capen House, Gould Barn, and Town Common, with True North Brewery partnering with the Topsfield Historic Society. The board also voted unanimously to authorize placement of an event banner at Town Common from June 1-14.
In a third vote, the board voted 5-0 to enter the Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council for mutual aid and assistance, which has been utilized twice in the past year and provides training programs to Topsfield officers.
