Topsfield Finance Committee votes to advance revised warrant articles ahead of May town meetings. The panel recommended Article 3rd calling for $28,218,754 (Motion A passed 6-0-1) and $317,084 (Motion B passed 4-2-1) to fund the FY2027 General Operating Budget. Article 45th, addressing debt exclusion for a regional building project with Topsfield's estimated $1.7 million assessment, passed 4-2-1 after discussion of electrification requirements and cost-effectiveness alternatives.
A joint Finance Committee and Select Board meeting is scheduled May 5 to vote on remaining articles before Annual Town Meeting.
