Conservation Commission continues hearings on major redevelopment project.

TOPSFIELD — Conservation Commission defers two linked notices of intent. Engineer Jay Polakiewicz of Hancock Associates presented the Topsfield Garages LLC proposal for a restaurant and structures at 10 School Avenue and 35R Main Street to the panel, which voted unanimously to continue the hearings (NOI 307-0873 and 307-0872) to April 8, 2026, pending completion of a second round of peer review by Bobrek Engineering. Administrator Jackie Yee requested a detailed site plan distinguishing degraded from non-degraded areas to determine required mitigation.
The commission also unanimously approved removal of two hazardous trees at 5 Fox Run Road contingent on planting two replacement trees within six months.
