TOPSFIELD — Board of Health approves FY27 calendar and designates signatories. Chair Sheryl Knutsen, Ellen Eaton RN, and Amy Lischko MSPH, DSc voted unanimously to adopt 12 regular meeting dates beginning July 15, 2026, and to authorize Knutsen as Primary Signatory and Lischko as Alternate Signatory for warrant and payroll processing. Health Director Jon Bouley reported ongoing septic design reviews, food permits, and post-closure landfill monitoring; the office issued a permit for beaver dam flooding mitigation on Boston Street.
Board member Eaton raised concerns that the regional Public Health Excellence website displays the Topsfield Town Seal despite spelling errors and lack of board consultation, signaling tension in the tri-town partnership.
