Board of Health approves camp inspection contractor for summer 2026.

Topsfield Board of Health unanimously hires returning contractor for summer camp inspections. The board voted 4-0 to engage Julia Lobel RN for the 2026 camp inspections, estimating the work at no more than 14 hours using existing Professional Services funds. Health Director Jon Bouley reported 28 septic repairs and eight new systems approved in fiscal year 2026 to date, plus pending approvals for bathroom facilities at the Topsfield Fairgrounds and the near-completion of the Alfalfa Farm Brewery wastewater project.

The Opioid Settlement Funds Committee reported a current balance of $90,638, with $56,200 allocated and approximately $26,000 pending submission.
