Board of Assessors approves Veterans exemption policy change.

TOPSFIELD — Board of Assessors tightens Veterans exemption policy. Chair Lynn Conant, Clerk John Minnehan, and Member Robert Kanter voted unanimously to require all Veterans exemption applicants to submit a current Veterans disability letter each year to remain eligible for the exemption. The Board also approved the April 2026 Motor Vehicle Abatement Report and reviewed two payroll warrants.
Principal Assessor Toula Guarino informed the Board of a recent property sale at 10 School Street. The Board then entered Executive Session to consider personal exemption applications.
